I work at the intersection of languages, learning and communication. I enjoy understanding what people need, finding the right words and making complex material clear and useful. I bring research skills, an eye for detail and a warm, collaborative approach.
TRANSLATION & INTERPRETING
A native French speaker with C2 English, I translate, revise and proofread English into French. My experience includes academic, institutional, cultural and educational texts. I also provide French-English consecutive, simultaneous, liaison and telephone interpreting, with at least five years of experience in each of the first three modes. I use memoQ at an advanced level, have good command of Smartcat and basic knowledge of Trados Studio. Terminology, register and natural French are central to my work.
DIGITAL LEARNING & TRAINING
I have seven years of higher-education teaching experience and have created and managed more than 30 Moodle courses. I train teachers at UQAM in Montréal and develop courses on Apolearn at the Institut français in Munich, where I teach French. Since April 2026, I have trained teachers in digital humanities, learning platforms and image analysis under a freelance contract with Bavaria's Ministry of Education. I can support course development, learning activities, platform organisation and user guidance. Examples of my courses and interactive learning activities are available on request.
CONTENT, COMMUNITY & COORDINATION
I currently work in community management at welevel, an AI-centred company: editorial calendars, community announcements, moderation and player feedback. My background also includes game QA at Eidos-Montréal, editorial work and more than five years of varied freelance assignments in luxury and haute couture, including PR, interpreting and client relations. I use Notion, Excel and Jira for organisation and follow-up.
RESEARCH & SUBJECT KNOWLEDGE
I hold a master's degree in English Studies, specialising in Arts and Visual Culture, and am completing a cotutelle doctorate at UQAM and Université Paris Cité, expected June 2027. I am also a visiting researcher at LMU's Amerika-Institut. My expertise includes history, archives, visual culture, propaganda and critical approaches to images.
Based in Munich, I work remotely and can travel occasionally. Project and part-time work can begin immediately by agreement; full-time availability requires twenty days' notice.
