Summary:
Delivered technical assistance to Simbu Provincial Treasury and District Administration, while coordinating with IT Division and PNG Department of Finance (DOF). Administered and maintained inventory, while preparing DOF IT budgets. Delivered training sessions across all sub-national levels and Local Level Governments (LLG) in line with PCABE objectives.
Responsibilities
Prepared and submitted ICT project plans for Provincial Capacity Building and Enhancement project,
Provided technical support to Simbu Provincial Treasury and District Administration in coordination with ICT Division, PNG Department of Finance (DOF),
Conducted ICT audits in all six (6) Simbu Province districts surveying, assessing and reporting on site IT proficiency to identify immediate training requirements through use of Training Needs Assessment (TNA) forms,
Planned and supported PGAS (Papua New Guinea Accounting System) in all 6 districts in the province,
Prepared and submitted DOF ICT budgets for approval and funding,
Planned and conducted ICT trainings across all sub-national levels and Local Level Governments (LLG) in line with PCABE objectives,
Provided technical support to Provincial & Districts treasuries and administrations,
Completed the project ahead of schedule under budget.
Achievements Led IT audits in in all six Simbu Province districts to analyze training requirements by using Training Needs Assessment (TNA) forms. Established an IT training laboratory for SPG. Configured virtual learning Management System (Moodle) on a windows server. Provided mentorship to over 200 SPG officers including 10 LLG managers and led 5 Training of Trainers, ToT.
