As Lead Developer, I was entrusted with a mission-critical project to architect and implement a new authentication and user management system. This strategic initiative involved replacing a limiting No-Code solution and executing a full migration of their existing user base to a robust, scalable, and secure platform, laying a new technical foundation for the company's future growth.
I provided end-to-end project leadership, from initial conception to final handover for deployment. This began with intensive requirements engineering and stakeholder interviews to precisely define the technical and business needs. This involved conducting a comprehensive market analysis of third-party authentication providers, resulting in a detailed recommendation that was adopted by the client.
I architected the full integration of the authentication provider into the PHP backend, built new authentication flows, and re-engineered the API communication to use modern, secure JWT
Key achievements:
- User Migration: Architected and executed a migration strategy for over 1,600 users. The process, centered around a one-time password reset, resulted in a flawless transition with zero user-facing technical issues or complaints
- Advanced Security Architecture: Implemented JWT validation on every backend request, establishing a secure environment that ensures data integrity and protection for all user accounts and actions
