Resource 1 is seeking a .Net/Web Developer for a contract position in Elkridge, MD. The initial contract is 6 months long, but extensions are expected. Individual should have at least 5 years of full life-cycle application development, including design, analysis, coding, and testing. Individual will join a team of .Net/Web Developers responsible for the development of new and enhancement of existing web applications. Many of the existing applications were developed in C#, ASP.NET and Web Forms. This is a large-scale modernization project, moving to .NET Core with Angular and other open-sourced web technologies. There may be some initial programming in support of the current platform, but programming will tied to the move to C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core and Angular 4. Great opportunity to learn .NET Core and Angular. Individual should have solid experience building .NET applications using C#/ASP.NET and some experience with Web UIs. Individual should also understand how to use JSON to move data between the client (Angular) and server (ASP.NET). Should be well versed in design structure for MVC and object-oriented techniques. T-SQL will be used to build stored procedures in the MS SQL Server database. Healthcare industry experience is a plus. Candidate will also need to possess strong written/verbal communication skills and be able to interpret detailed technical specifications.
