Co-Founder and CTO of a revolutionary search engine based on face-recognition to fight non-consensual pornography and image based sexual abuse. Built and integrated Product, Frontend, Backend, auto-scalable cloud infrastructure, test-driven development and scalable AI as the only tech person.
We develop impact-first tech solutions, shape tech policy in Europe and provide a community for people who are striving for a safer internet. Responsible for all tech related. Developing innovation concepts, recruiting tech volunteers, writing tech funding applications, managing the organization's infrastructure.
Hired as an expert in React and helped the existing team responsible for
the profile page at XING to move from legacy Ruby on Rails to new tech
stack. Worked first as frontend engineer, then got contract extended as
backend engineer.
To disrupt the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry we
developed an Android & iOS App to support people to keep track of their
goods in their fridge and pantry and later use the data to automate and
deliver repetitive orders.
Hired as a freelance expert for ReactJS and helped the existing team with
moving their shop frontend to a new tech stack.
Before the age of Spotify we've built a music player web app to
collaboratively create playlists with a democratic voting system on the
order of the songs. With our own high-level abstraction library with
integrated music from YouTube, Soundcloud and Vimeo.
Before the e-commerce fashion retailer ABOUTYOU became a unicorn I
was part of the initial core team and responsible to build up the first
frontend development department. I was hiring and leading a team of
developers for the first iterations of their online-shop.
I quit to focus on finishing my university degree.
