One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a SQL Server Infrastructure Consultant.

brief project description: The customer has a wide range of different SQL Servers in production (2000, 2005 or newer) and wants a consolidated SQL Server installation based on 2012. The goal of the engagement is to elaborate on a recommendation if and how to migrate to SQL Server 2012 and how the target architecture should look like (architecture, sizing, etc.). The engagement will be delivered by two consultants: One application expert looking at the applications, their requirements and data within SQL Server and the requested SQL Server infrastructure expert look at the databases itself. Together they will work on the target architecture and a recommendation for migration. Engagement is 1 week (5 days) on site in Vienna. English is recommended, German preferable
role of consultant:
SQL Server Infrastructure Expert or DBA
* Experience in SQL Server Migration and/or Consolidation
* Can consult in SQL Server Architecture and Sizing
* Preferable Hands-On Experience with SQL Server 2012
* Language English, German would be an advantage
* Total engagement 5 days on site in Vienna (Austria)
