Overall Project Director - Germany / Austria



An Overall Project Director is needed for our client, a prestigious international Telecommunication Company, on contract basis in Austria. Work eligibility is required for the application. As an Overall Project Director you will be responsible that the project is executed in time, within the budget and delivered in quality. You will monitor that the delivered is compliant with the required processes and methods for all parties.



Responsibilities:

Represent the entire project towards the client and other authorities
Negotiations with the client, authorities and third parties including the necessary correspondence
Technical, commercial and organizational coordination with the partner
Writing reports from meetings when needed or when the partner requests it
Selection and control of the appropriate internal and external partners
Design and update of the project organization
Overall project control
Management of Regional Project Managers
Claim Management and Change Management


Requirements:

Independent, responsible individual with strong team spirit and enthusiasm
Very good communication and organizational skills
Several years experience in a similar function
Experience in the rail domain, radio communication, rollout, Migration
Assertiveness and strong conceptual and analytical thinking
Very good German and English skills in speaking and writing
Master's degree, MBA or equivalent education
PMI, IPMA or comparable project management certification
At least 5 ­7 years experience in managing large­scale projects inTelecommunications and / or railway area
Experience with the specific processes in the rail sector in German­speaking environment
