Our Client would like to launch mobile versions of the main before the end of the year. The project has already started, but requires a new project manager. The project manager should be based in Vienna, Austria but must be willing to travel to other sites (Munich, The Hague)
Deliverables:
- Handover/knowledge transfer from current project manager and assessment of current status
- In co-operation with the project team, define a plan for the development, testing and acceptance of the mobile websites, with a view to launching before the end of the year
- Update and create project documentation and reports, etc
- Organise and conduct board meetings
- Coordinate with technical teams, user representatives, external agencies and other stakeholders, organising meetings where necessary, including travel to other sites
- Oversee remaining development work according to the timetable
- Assure that the deliverables comply with the business needs
- Organise testing
- Oversee launch
- Closure of project, including definition of follow-ups and next steps
Required skills:
- Experience managing projects using the Prince 2 methodology
- Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
- Excellent English, both orally and in writing
- Ability to communicate with different stakeholders (both technical and non-technical) and to get team members "on board"
- Good knowledge of mobile websites
- Experience working in an international environment would be an asset
