OSS Engineer
Area: CTO/Service & Quality Management/OSS
In this diverse position you will be responsible for the administration and support of the ZTE OSS systems, ensuring the smooth operation of the ZTE Netnumen Element Management Systems (EMS) OSS Platforms and Tools. Scheduling patches and upgrades and testing of same.
Tasks:
Administration of the ZTE Netnumen Element Management Systems.
Working closely with our Back Office teams, NOC and partners. Central contact person within "3".
Incident and change management following ITIL processes.
Providing second level support.
Creation of documentation on the configuration of the existing systems.
Troubleshoot issues with the ZTE Netnumen applications.
Setup of accounts, configuring security options for the EMS.
Minor development of Shell, Perl, PL/SQL, MML (Groovy/Java) scripts
Upgrade and improvement projects
Skills:
Basic knowledge of telecommunications network and environment such as Radio and Core networks (GMS/UMTS/LTE)
ZTE Netnumen knowledge preferred. (NetAct/Traffica optional)
Good troubleshooting skills, failure analysis and documentation.
Unix, Windows, SQL (Oracle), Scripting (Perl, Shell), TCP/IP, SNMP
ITIL knowledge
Excellent Communications Skills (German and English - oral and written required)
