Senior Web Engineer.
A leading Asset Management company are currently looking for a web engineer in Vienna for a long term contract commitment (at least until the end of the year - with view to continue). The Senior Web Engineer will be working on a variety of projects within a banking & asset management setting.
Responsibilities:
*Web Development experience with Spring Framework and Java Server faces.
*Requirements Analysis - you will be responsible for determining the needs for new and altered products. Effective communication with various stakeholders is essential; these will include both clients and end users. Estimating complexity of projects & costs.
*Creating documentation to accompany software & source code, explaining usage & operation.
*Unit Testing - the company are looking for someone with experience in testing source code, computer program modules, associated control date, usage procedures & operating procedures.
Essentials:
*Very good knowledge of Java - Java Server Faces, JQuery, J2EE, JEE, software development with Java.
*Understanding of design patterns & their resusability to commonly occurring problems within a given context in software design.
*Very good analytical skills.
*Experience with Apache Subversion (SVN).
*Teamwork, initiative, self-employed and structured way of working
*High willingness to learn.
*English proficiency.
