Über unseren Kunden:
Our customer is an experienced and leading banking institution located in Austria. 

Our client is looking for a Professional Test Engineer for EDWH/MIS-HO (m/f) who possesses good know how of the testing components. He/She is responsible for test case design and the creation of test scenarios. 
Furthermore,  execution of functional and non-functional test cases and the documentation of test 
results is within his/her responsibilities.  Contract duration planned until may be extended. Tasks:

• Execute functional and non-functional test cases


• Evaluate test results and document test results into the defect racking tool


• Automate test cases as appropriate and feasible 


• Support test effort estimations 


• Report to the test manager


• Suggest enhancements on test process if applicable
• Analyze  requirements, specifications, design documentation  and other project 
  documentation
• Design functional and non-functional test cases 
• Create test data
• Support test manager in creating test related reports and test plans 
• Provide technical guidance to Junior-level Test Engineers
• Liaises with other staff, such as software architects, software engineers, software consultants, 
  test consultants, test engineers, test managers, business analysts and IT Project Managers or 
  Technical Project Managers 

Qualification and Technical Skills:

• HTL, or Bachelor degree in a technical study


• Optional/favorable education: certificate in software quality assurance, Masters degree in a technical study
• Very good written and spoken command of English or German language


• Very good knowledge in SQL 


• Good knowledge in using HP Quality Center (ex Test Director)


• Good knowledge on data base systems (e.g. Oracle, Informix)
• Basic knowledge in UNIX and shell scripting
• Basic knowledge on the defect life cycle
• Optional/favorable knowledge: Teradata data bases, Datastage, ODI and Test automation in the context of data ware houses

Experience:

• At least 3 years of software quality assurance


• Experience in data warehouse testing 


• Experience in software development


• Optional/favorable experience: batch interface testing, domain knowledge in banking
