ORCA Solution AG based in Basel and Zurich offers their services in IT-Industry since 1987 within Banks, Insurances and many other branches. For our client we are searching with the openexternal Project 676
a Manager IT Server Plattform
Tasks:
- consult requestors of new server (Windows, Linux, AIX, Solaris)
- track running deploy and decom orders
- planning lifecycle for servers with upcoming EOL hardware and/or OS-builds
- capacity management of shared server farms by verifing thresholds, monitoring available
capacity and initiate order for required expansion - single point of contact for international infrastructure, e.g. Setup, lifecycle and close international locations
Skills needed:
- basic know how about server infrastructure and operating system
- very good in MS-Office, especially Excel, Powerpoint
- good command of the written and spoken language: german and english
- reliable communicative work independently proactive to be able to look after oneself
