The company classically offers mobile services such as voice and data based on WCDMA network technology.
Area in charge:
The vacant position is an end-to-end engineering and operations task related to voice services which plays a central role in the business strategy in Austria.
Functions & Tasks:
o CS CORE Network HW expansion planning and implementation
o Communication with our vendors (HW expansions, SW upgrades and trouble tickets)
o Analysis of interfaces and protocols within CN Architecture and all relevant Service Platforms
o Implementation and Testing
o Support of design and architectural work
o Daily Operation & Maintenance Tasks
o Call on duty if required during daily operation
Requirements:
o Broad experience CS-Core GSM/UMTS
o Experience of GSM and IP Networks, Functions and Protocols related to it (SIGTRAN, MAP, CAMEL, IU, SIP, Megaco, ..)
o Experience on ZTE V3 Platform is a benefit (MSS, MGW)
o Ability for teamwork and huge ground readiness
o Awareness and readiness for duty work (incl. nights and weekend)
o Process oriented Thinking and Doing
Qualification: 4+ years experience
