Basics:
The company classically offers mobile services such as voice and data based on WCDMA network technology.
Area in charge:
The vacant position is an end-to-end engineering and planning task related to voice services which plays a central role in the business strategy in Austria.
Functions & Tasks:
o CS CORE network planning + dimensioning
o Communication with our vendors (feature/functionality implementation)
o Capacity reporting (definition)
o Implementation and Testing of new features/functionality
o Design and architectural work (high and low level)
o Call on duty if required during daily operations
Requirements:
o Broad experience CS-Core GSM/UMTS
o High level experience of GSM and IP Networks, Functions and Protocols related to it (SS7, SIGTRAN, MAP, CAMEL, IU, Megaco, H.248, IuCS over IP, SIP-x,.....)
o Experience on ZTE V3 Platform would be a benefit
o Ability for teamwork and huge ground readiness
o Awareness and readiness for duty work (incl. nights and weekend)
o Process oriented Thinking and Doing
Qualification: 5+ years experience
