Test Engineer PVT Monte Carlo Ocean Design
Knowledge and experience in Cadence 5.xx, Virtuoso, Spectre/spectreRF, UltraSim, AMS, Caliber, Caliber-xrc, TSMC 90nm.
Setup block level test benches for PVT and Monte Carlo verification in Ocean. ADC (high speed). Filter. PLL (5GHz). Synthesizer (2.5 GHz). LDO,BG,POR. Generate simulation check list based on existing schematics. Generate Verilog-ams models of the analog blocks. Match the simulation results to the measurement reports and find the root cause of errors. Schematics must be well understood. Extracted view simulation/some layout skills are required/layout modification for extraction must be done. Propose schematic improvements to customer or re-design it standalone. Verification of the analog Chain. Mixed signal verification with AMS simulation combining Verilog and Verilog-ams and spectre netlist of analog chain. High voltage know how is an advantage (3.3 V with 2.5 volt devices). Verification of the block level changes and top level functionality and equivalency checks. Regression runs for final Tape Out.
