We are looking for our client for an End User Workplace Manager in the area of Zürich:Responsibilities:
- Responsible for development and implementation of global End User standards (examples: laptops, desktops, applications, mobile devices, printers, etc.).
- Develop and document best practices, processes, and procedures related to all aspects of desktop support, desktop software and hardware for the entire group.
?- Manage major desktop platform infrastructure projects and other enterprise-wide desktop configuration initiatives
?- Drive and coordinate Regional IT teams to identify or develop IT desktop, laptop and mobile products to improve client productivity and efficiencies.
?- Responsible for the Software Distribution & Inventory system daily operations performed by a 3rd party supplier
In more details:
?- Execute Problem & Release process related with the computers area
?- Coordinate the introduction of technical changes into the group
?- Act as the primary leader for significant workstation upgrades and provide support to other information technology personnel
?- Support regional deployments
?- Manage the service delivered by the 3rd party supplier:
• Image creation/update
• Accuracy and currency of software, desktops, printers and other peripheral data contained in asset management system
• Massive software distributions
• Maintain group computers updated with patches
?- Optimize operations to ensure the maximum possible quality of service for users
Qualifications:
?- Demonstrated experience working in environments with more than 6.000 computers
?- Experience working in International environments
?- Demonstrated experience with W7 imaging technologies
?- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
?- Expert on Local Security Policy, Group Policy settings and how they affect OS operation
?- Expert knowledge of various deployment and installation technologies (Installshield, MSI)
?- Communication and coordination skills
?- Fluent in English
