We are currently looking for a Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer (f/m/x) to create & optimize BI and analytics solutions in the compliance area for one of our clients in the financial industry in Vienna.Your tasks:
Translate business needs to technical specifications
Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)
Design, implement and document data architecture and data modeling solutions, which include the use of relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases
Maintain and support data analytics platforms
Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)
Develop unit testing and troubleshooting process
Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
Optimize database queries
Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
Develop and update technical documentation
Qualifications:
Senior experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist
hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience (using
RDBMS, dimensional, NoSQL data platform technologies, and ETL
and data ingestion protocols)
Experience in banking industry is preferred (esp. Banking
Compliance)
Familiarity with BI technologies (foremost Microsoft Power BI, but also
AWS QuickSight, Qlik Sense)
Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Knowledge in streaming technologies is a plus (real-time data sourcing, eg: Apache Kafka, -Pulsar,..)
