Location: Vienna, Austria
Duration: 6months +
Rate: 65 Euros per hour
In a nutshell
As a member of our Security Inventory and Asset Management (SIAM) team, you map the IT infrastructure and the links between the components it contains and the IT services in a logical model. In this function you ensure the correctness and completeness of our configuration items via the infrastructure as well as services and applications.
Your new job
- You are responsible for the regular checking and allocation of the documented assets as well as the processing of new service requests.
- You pay attention to the consistency of the content of the CMD and administer the configuration trees in the CMDB.
- You ensure that the CIs are updated.
- You create reports and analyse the CMDB for improvement potential and check whether the CI owners are following the process and maintaining their CIs.
- You assemble the assets imported from the asset management tools into a config tree and reduce the CI orphans (elements that do not belong).
Requirements
- You have completed training in the ICT environment or have comparable professional experience.
- You have IT knowledge (MS Office, especially Excel, Word, Powerpoint) as a user and with operational experience.
- You have a basic understanding of the structure and relationships between IT architectures, interfaces and workflows, operating systems and software development.
- Convince you in written and spoken German and English (team language is German).
- You enjoy working with numbers and data. KPIs, reports, analyses don't put you off - because everything can be learned.
