For one of our top clients, we are looking for an experienced Batch Developer with Cobol + Java/PL1 + Java experience who dares to act in an international environment and promote the digitization process.The position is open for a freelancer with a start in December/January. During pandemics, you will be working mostly off-site, later with some presence on-site (2+3).
Knowledge:
• Completed training in computer science (HTL, technical college, university) or a comparable qualification in the field of software development (Java, PL1, Cobol)
• Experience with relational databases
• Several years of professional experience in the conception and development of batch programs
• Interest in new technologies and technical updates of existing specialist programs
- English skills (both C1)
Tasks:
• Contributing to and shaping the transformation from PL1 to Java
• Creation of technical designs based on technical requirements
• Development and maintenance of batch programs in PL1 and Java
• Participation in international projects
