For one of our prestigious FS-Clients in Austria, we are looking for a DevOps engineer with immediate availability for a longer assignment.First term would be until the end of this year with a very high probability of renewal until Q4/21 and beyond.

TASKS
? Contribute to the development of a future-proof container orchestration platform, covering build, deployment and test automation as well as provisioning of infrastructure components in cloud environments
? Maintain the platform by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health
? Design concepts, evaluate tools and technologies to improve every aspect of the container orchestration platform (incl. CI/CD pipeline)
? Drive adoption of best practices in platform health, testing, and maintainability
? Working as part of a delivery team with agility.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
? University degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, a comparable technical education or equivalent practical experience
? Kubernetes (OpenShift, OKD) – 2+ years’ experience
? Configuration Management (Terraform, Ansible)
? Security (Practice with certification management, standard authentication mechanism)
? State-of-the art source code management, i.e. Git
? Strong scripting skills (ideally Python, Bash)
? Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed
? Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
? Experience with cloud concepts and -providers, virtualization and containers (preferably in AWS)
? Experience in Queuing systems (e.g. RabbitMQ, Kafka, Pulsar)
? Experience in building and operating a CI/CD pipeline
? Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, architecture, and core technologies (such as DNS, DHCP, HTTP, Routing, VPN)
? Developed communication and collaboration skills exhibited in complex operational settings
