This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Data Warehouse Specialist to undertake a new freelance project to start in October on an initial 3 month contract (with a view to extend).The role is based in Vienna, offers 50% level of remote working flexibility and comes with a lucrative hourly/daily rate.
You must be able to speak fluent English & German.

- Certifications: Teradata 14 Certified Professional
- Programming Languages:
- SQL PL/SQL, Scripting
- ETL Tools: Datastage 8.x, Tortoise SVN, multiload, fastload, SQL Assistant, Teradata Administrator
Day to day tasks:
- Analysis of Business requirements, support in Functional Analysis and Functional Specification phases
- Managing/steering smaller implementation teams (between 5-10 members) over the projects
- Acting as Stream Lead and managing project related architectural topics/decisions
- ETL Development and implementation
- BTEQ scripts creation
- DataMart creation
- Data Migration
- Data Model Migration
- Modification of Physical Data Model
- SQL Performance tuning
- Supporting in Job Scheduling
- Bug fixing
- Unit and Integration testing
- Trainings / Trained new colleagues
- Documentation creation
