Job Description
An EC Institution with 1000s of employees requires corporate web based Information Systems to support its daily business management in a large range of business domains.
They provides a contractual way of satisfying the needs for information systems development, maintenance and studies.
They include inter alia adaptation and/or integration of existing systems and products, and involve activities such as project management, pre-analysis, feasibility studies, proof of concept, functional and technical analysis, design, programming, testing, installation, customisation, documentation, training, technical support and information systems consultancy services.
Technical and Functional Skills
Nature of the main tasks
- Development and maintenance of software applications
- Development and integration of software components
- Systems integration
- Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system
- Drafting technical documentation
Knowledge and skills
- Front End: Ability to develop user interface using JavaScript, Kendo UI (jquery version), HTML 5, CSS3, Bootstrap
- Back End: Ability to develop computer application using Java (JDK 1.8, JEE 6). Ability to build and use Web Services (SOAP or REST)
- Database: Ability to work with Oracle RDBMS and to query in native SQL language using Oracle 12c, SQL Developer
- Interpersonal skills: Ability to work in a multicultural environment. Ability to act as a team player. Capacity to coordinate with other teams and multiple stakeholders
- Respect of deadlines: Ability to respect deadlines and budget allocated and respect instructions
- Language: Ability to write/speak/understand English (Level B min.). French knowledge is an asset.
