For a project at our client‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
Senior Solution Architect / Engineer – SOA / Java 7
In this exciting hybrid role (50% engineering / 50 % solution design), you will join a team of specialists who are aiming at changing the current applications landscape in the lending space by enabling clients for more self-services and e2e digitalization and automation. Your solutions will reduce complexity, provide more data and dashboards to the clients as well as internal stakeholders.
Your Qualifications:
- Senior Solution Architect / Engineer profile with both hands-on engineering and solution design skills
- Good understanding in Service-Oriented Architectures
- Extensive Java programming skills such as Java 7, JPA, CDI and Jersey
- Strong know-how of relational database design and implementation SQL (Oracle)
- Strong understanding of the JEE technologies as Weblogic, JEE 6, EJB and Webservices (REST)
- Excellent understanding of the web technologies JSF, JSON and HTML
- Familiar with Splunk, Hadoop, Tableau and Analytics technology would be a strong plus
- Strong soft skills to handle stakeholders with different background (Requirement engineers, Project leads, Programmers, Offshore resources, Testers etc.) and integrate in the existing Project team
- Fluent in English (oral/written), German would be a plus
Your Responsibilities:
- Analyse and estimate the business requirements, elaborate an appropriate application design, decide on the technology applied and clarify the impact on other applications
- Implementing hands-on your own solutions
- Difference between possibilities and communicates with all necessary stakeholders about interfaces, security
- Ensuring high quality of work by conducting code reviews, ensuring unit testability of the application and supporting the development team
- Realizing design decisions
