Our Client is one of the leading General Insurers in the UK and they are looking for a Tax Manager to manage the Corporation tax compliance process and operational tax procedures for all legal entities in the Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the quarterly and annual tax accounting process
- Responsible for the tax compliance process (tax returns, tax payments etc)
- Pro-actively reduce cash tax payments and ETR through optimisation of structures and advising on proposed transactions
- Oversight/assistance with the quarterly VAT returns and VAT payments
- Support the Head of Tax on all tax issues from M&A/financing activity in UK and overseas
Key Skills & Experience required:
- CTA/ICAEW/ACCA/ADIT qualified
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of UK Corporation Tax, VAT and other taxes
- Previous in-house tax experience, ideally in a financial services environment
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
