PL/1 Developer | Vienna
I am partnering with major financial service organisation who are looking for an experienced PL/1 Developer to join their cross-functional team. Utilise your skills to develop, implement, and maintain large-scale Java-based projects.
Your responsibilities:
- Create technical designs based on technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain of programs in superior quality in PL/1, Java and C.
- Assess and support their customers, companies worldwide, in terms of implementing their core insurance software.
- Transform the PL/1 Batch Services to Java.
Your experience:
- Previous experience changing from PL/1 to Java.
- Experience with relational databases.
- Strong knowledge of the operating system Linux (Perl and Shell Scripting).
- Experience in technical documentation from applications.
- Maintain host-programs under Linux and Mainframe.
- English speaking.
