Job Role: IT Infrastructure Expert/Business Analyst (f/m/x) financial area Luxembourg - P887
Field of activity
For its IT Asset Management our client is looking for an IT Infrastructure and IT Asset Management expert. This position coordinates and supports implementation of a distributed CMDB, ensures data quality of CMDB entries for Servers, network devices and other Cis.
It assures high performance and success of IT asset management and configuration management processes with great sophistication and the love of detail and accuracy. This role demands a strong bias for action as well as flexibility and willingness to work outside business hours.
The candidate is willing to travel occasionally to support works in international data centers and offices.
Task and responsibilities
- Support the implementation of a distributed CMDB
- Support the definition and introduction of new/changed asset and configuration management processes
- Integrate remote data sources (mainly FNT Command) into a central Configuration Management System (CMS)
- Support datacenter, server operations and network teams in adapting data and processes
Mandatory skills and experience
- 5+ years of related business experience with a track record of accomplishment in large, complex projects and change initiatives
- Experience in IT Asset Management and Configuration Management tools
- Process design, modelling and documentation
- Sound knowledge of datacenter processes
- Highly motivated and engaging nature, positively assertive
- Ability to work independently and under pressure with a high degree of reliability/flexibility
- Team player with excellent communication skills at different levels
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; German and/or French language skills would be an advantage
Assignment
- Start date of assignment: ASAP
- Expected contract duration: until June 2020 (initial contract till year end followed by extension)
- Degree of employment: Full-time
- Location: Luxembourg - due to the distribution of our infrastructure teams regular travel to our Eschborn office
