Resource 1 is in need of a Web UI/UX Designer/Developer for a remote, 1-year+ contract position in Fort Worth, TX. While this position is remote, selected candidate will be expected to attend monthly meetings onsite in Fort Worth, so individual should be local to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Individual should have at least 5 years of UI/UX design experience. The goal of the project is to standardize the look and feel of the presentation layer of customer-facing web applications, while applying responsive and adaptive design. Selected applicant will help improve the user experience and design of web-based enterprise applications based on best practices for UI/UX design. Individual should have some development in their background as well, so they can move around applications. Must have experience designing/developing dynamic pages, including the knowledge and skills to style pages that may be made up of multiple parts, some styles applied by code. Individual will leverage various tools for web design, including Angular 6, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. Experience with Angular 4+ and Bootstrap 4 are pluses for this position. If a candidate does not have experience with Angular, they must have coding experience with HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, etc. Individual will work with the Business Analysts and users for story boarding, process flows, mock-ups, layouts, etc. Designing web applications for enterprise/corporate clients is preferred for this position. Individual should have strong written and verbal communication skills.
