Job Role: Teal Lead/Specialist (Mainframes)

Location: Vienna Austria

Job Type: Contract (6months +)

Job Description:

Strong experience in Mainframe technologies, ie, Natural, Cobol, Assembler, Adabas, DB2, JCL, CICS and Mainframe tools/products

Will be fully hands-on, will work on assessment tasks which includes application analysis, identify source-target mapping etc.

Will work closely with the Mainframe architect and other technical specialists and will also be interacting with the customer SMEs, app owners.

Good analytical skills

Will also understand the technology landscape details (technology components, sizing, environment details etc.,) and IT processes.

Will also create documentation as part of assessment deliverables

Experience in Mainframe re-platforming/re-hosting projects is preferable

Experience in Rexx is preferred

To be responsible for providing technical guidance/solutions

To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity

To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review.

To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
