BI Reporting/Innovation Engineer - Wroclaw, Poland
NextLink is having an existing position as an Java Developer with Automation Test Experience for global projects in Wroclaw, Poland for our core client within banking/finance industry.
General information:
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6-12 months
Extension: An extension is planned, but needs to be approved.
Work load: 100% (5 days on site)
Work location: Wroclaw, Poland
Remote: Not possible
Must haves:
As a Business Intelligence Reporting engineer you will be joining a small and strong team of engineers working on a visionary award winning platform and will be responsible for the design and creation of standard dashboards and a self-service reporting model that will be used across the Reporting organization
- 3+ years on Business Intelligence teams preferably using a variety of BI tools such as QlikView/Qlik Sense, Tableau or similar Business Intelligence products
- Experience delivering Business Intelligence solutions in Investment Banking technology division a plus.
- Knowledge of database design, SQL and data warehousing
- Relational and Dimensional Data Model
- Data Modeling (Conceptual & Logical)
- Intermediate to advanced SQL skills
- Able to learn new BI technologies as required
- Unix systems knowledge with ability to install binaries on Red hat Linux machines
- Advanced MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint skills
- QlikSense/Tableau or similar BI Tools
- Data analytical skills
- Requirements gathering and documentation
- Python, R experience a plus
- Proven ability to understand the clients requirements and deliver a product that will help them meet their objectives
- Able to prioritize conflicting requirements based on the business justification and the overall benefit to the business
- Organizational skills

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
