Java Engineer - Wroclaw, Poland
NextLink is having an existing position as an Java Developer with Automation Test Experience for global projects in Wroclaw, Poland for our core client within banking/finance industry.
General information:
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6-12 months
Extension: An extension is planned, but needs to be approved.
Work load: 100% (5 days on site)
Work location: Wroclaw, Poland
Remote: Not possible
Must haves:
As a Java engineer, you will be joining a small and strong team of engineers working on a visionary award-winning platform to build and develop a robust Server Side Spring Boot based web service APIs that will be utilized by rich JavaScript HTMLT5 UI
Job Summary:
- 4+ years of experience in core Java and related technologies in a Unix/Linux environment
- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design with strong analytical and debugging skills
- Experience in building web applications using Spring Boot
- Experience using web Servers (Tomcat/Weblogic), caching frameworks, application containers
- Design and build scalable and resilient technical products to service ad-hoc and self-service reporting solution for clients by integrating BI tools with Java
- Work with technical and business partners to understand needs and provide innovative solutions
- Document and test code
- Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Expertise in multi-threading, Object Oriented Design and the use of design patterns
- Solid knowledge of relational database design and development (SQL, stored procedures, data modelling)
- Experience with build tools like Jenkins, Maven, Gradle etc is a plus.
- Experience in troubleshooting, debugging and optimizing Java applications
- Ability to work as part of a team and also individually with a self-starter ("can do") attitude
