Test Engineer Middleware Backend Testing role for Global Digital Transformation project based out of Prague Czech Rep.
Project details
- Test team together with the development team works on Global Digital Transformation projects for Global Building Materials Supplier. The team will work in collaboration with other offices worldwide (mainly Mexico, USA, Spain, Hungary, and India).
- The teams will be a combination of Expert Function-Technical consultants as well as Developers, Integrators, Architects, Database specialists, etc. Join us in Prague and be part of our global team, supporting customer clients around the world.
Responsibilities
- Test Automation (25%) and Manual testing (75%)
- You will perform test analysis, review user stories and provide feedback on requirements
- You will execute functional tests, both exploratory and based on test cases
- You will identify, analyze and report defects in JIRA
- You will perform functional testing on all application levels - GUI, API, DB and SAP
- You will execute smoke and regression tests
- You will help during develop. process, prepare data manually/via scripts (API, DB) for testing without FE
- Testing components before they are encapsulated into API
Requirements
- At least B2 level of English (written and spoken, using English on daily basis);
- 3+ years of experience in testing;
- Experience in functional testing;
- Experience in Back End testing (API, DB - good knowledge of SQL) moving closer to White Box testing;
- Knowledge of Scripting language to be able to write simple scripts if needed;
- Experience in GUI testing;
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development;
- Analytical thinking;
- Working experience within globally distributed multi-cultural teams and cross-region projects;
- Good teamwork and communications skills.
