Senior Engineer Battery Systems -Project Austria -6M+
For one of our clients in Austria we are looking for an Engineer specialised in Battery Systems
Please find attached the description of the position below:
-Profile
Completed training in the field of electronics/mechatronics/electrical or vehicle technology (Master/HTL/FH/TU)
several years of professional experience in one of the above-mentioned topics in the automotive sector
Expertise for the battery system, associated electrical and mechanical interfaces, battery management system, common standards and functional safety
Experience in battery system development
Practical experience in prototyping and handling with battery systems is an advantage
Electrician training an advantage
Knowledge of bus systems and vehicle architecture
-Tasks
Conception and specification of battery systems for innovative vehicle concepts on 2-4 wheels
Development and construction of traction batteries (design, architecture, hardware, software, thermal design, component and system integration)
Modeling, comparing, selecting and verification of battery systems
Research of new technologies in the field of cells and systems
Planning and management of sub-projects in vehicle development, focus on pre-development
Planning, coordination, execution and evaluation of tests and continuous runs at components and system level
Creation and maintenance of development documents, production and release documents
Coordination of external development partners (monitoring of appointments, costs and quality)
Clarification of technical details with customers and suppliers
