A huge Aerospace and Space company involved in a lot of huge projects. They work with one of the biggest Aerospace manufacturers in the world and they are currently working on some exciting projects on cutting edge technology within their respective fields of expertise. As a company they have been around for around a century and have been leaders in their field ever since.

6 months but likely to be extended for a further 6 months
Pay rate:
€65 - €75 per hour
Roles of the Systems Engineer
- Be heavily involved in the System Design of Electronics components for an Aircraft which consist of mechanical assemblies, electronic units (including Embedded software) and power sources.
- You will be responsible for:
- Liaising with the customer and negotiating specifications and system interfaces
- Requirements Capture and Technical Specifications.
- Flow down the technical specifications and top level requirements to the various teams within the project.
- Synthesis the analysis and test results to demonstrate that all the requirements have been met.
- Carry out impact analyses of new requirements or of detected non-conformities.
- Simulate the static and dynamic capabilities
Requirements of the Systems Engineer
- 5+ years of experience in Electronics system design ideally within Aerospace.
- Knowledge of Automotive or Space/Satellite design norms desirable (not essential)
- Good background working with DOORS and with MATLAB/SIMULINK.
