Deskside Support Engineer - German Speaking - Vienna, Austria
Knowledge and skills/experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Five years' experience in Infrastructure Technology Operations incl. one year of experience supervising IT personnel. Must demonstrate strong communication skills incl. excellent English verbal and written communications skills.
- Good computer skills and proficiency with Windows based standard tools eg Microsoft Office
- Strong inter-personal and customer facing communication skills with various levels of management (excellent English- verbal and written)
- strong problem-solving and follow-through skills
- Good understanding on Infrastructure operations, ITIL processes, IT security compliance and Infrastructure Risk Management framework
- Focus on performance & standards to meet and exceed the operational CSLs and KMs defined
- Compliance with HSE policies and procedures
- Leadership skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work effectively in multi-supplier environment
- Experience working with Energy companies, an advantage or even prior knowledge of the Shell client advantageous
- Knowledge of additional languages beneficial
