RF System Engineer - Austria - 12mths+
My customer, a market leader within their sector are looking to recruit an RF Systems Engineer (NFC) to work on a long term contract basis.
The role can be described as follows:
Responsibilities:
- RF related NFC system Validation activities for all NFC operating modes (peer to peer, reader/writer, card emulation) according NFC Forum specifications and ISO/IEC standards (14443-A, B, 18092, 15693), Felica, MIFARE and EMVCo. Specification
- Work with Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Spice, and internal tools
- Improving of contactless compliance test systems in terms of execution speed and functionality.
- Development of novel automation concepts for compliance and interoperability measurement systems based on Python and C.
- Optimization of the RF performance of our contactless products with respect to existing standards, interoperability and product requirements.
- Finding solutions and debugging based on testing results.
- Providing technical inputs for application notes, key customer support and design-in activities.
Other Skills/Experience:
- Have software skills: MatLab, Python, C/C++
- Have basic understanding of RF communication systems
- Might have software skills: Spice
- Might know transmitter/receiver architectures
- Might have knowledge in modulation techniques and coding
