Windows Administrator (L3 Support)
I am currently hiring a Windows Administrator (L3 Support) position on a project that is being run in Vienna, Austria by one of our Globally recognised clients.
This will be an initial 6 month contract with extensions offered thereafter, based on performance.
The Windows Administrator (L3 Support) will have the following Skills:
- Must have a hands-on experience of system administration of Windows Server Side infrastructure (Windows 2003, 2008, 2012, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP) Banking Application Servers (Print, Batch, Job, FTP, media streaming), License Servers, Enterprise and Certificate Servers, Exchange, TSM Backup, Citrix Servers (Host in Linux environment), Creating new application and publishing in Citrix desktops, File and Share folder Servers, Cluster Servers, Proxy, MS SQL. Various Schedules jobs, Share Point Servers, IIS, Creating new Virtual Desktops and Servers through Citrix. DFS Servers and troubleshoot. SAN storage, NTFS and FAT32 concept. Capturing, Deleting and reverting snapshots of the VM.
- User Management on AD Servers, Web Servers, Share point, Outlook and File & Share Folder Servers.
- Must have worked on enterprise grade server hardware (Install, Configure and Maintain) IBM, HP and Dell Rack Servers
- Must have knowledge of critical services switch from Servers in one DC to another DC as a part of BCP and DR recovery.
Good-to-have-skills:
- Prior experience working at Managed Services/IT Services/bank Environment is preferred, and a background in dealing with global teams, Customer and Client facing roles.
- Knowledge about Capital Market applications and workflows
- Strong plus for candidate having working (configuration and troubleshooting) experience on breadth of technologies eg Terminal Servers, windows clustering, MS NLB, VMware, Hyper-V, COGNOS, Database, Visual Basic, Software update, script repair, Knowledge on Various banking applications(Blomberg, EIKON, FXT, Barracuda, Reuters, Free plane etc..) Used by Traders and users on their desktops.
- Relevant certifications (ITIL, MCSA, MCITP. MCSE-Server, Citrix and SQL certification) will be a strong plus.
