Summary
The Information security analyst's responsibilities will primarily be related to the information security
program which includes SIEM monitoring and management, ISO-27001, NIST framework, information
security policies, risk assessment, security awareness training, etc. Additional technical responsibilities
include vulnerability management, anti-virus, malware analysis and threat management.
Your tasks
Develop/Implement security policies, standards and guidelines.
Perform IT risk assessments.
Analyze events utilizing SIEM technology and correlating events to identify malicious behavior and
activity.
Lead the information security awareness training program and perform simulated phishing campaign.
Implement and configure vulnerability management and SIEM solutions.
Configure and run vulnerability scans across the global enterprise and perform threat and vulnerability
assessments.
Create remediation and/or mitigation strategies with IT SMEs and business owners to address and/or
resolve business risks associated with vulnerabilities
Monitor security threats, analyze vulnerability assessments, and balance security with business needs.
Identify and resolve false positive findings based on assessment results.
Provide timely and adequate response to threats/alerts/incidents, including off-hour support.
Must be able to perform hands on tier-2 and 3 support for a wide range of security technologies
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the IT Security Manager/Director.
Domestic and International Travel possible
Your background
Bachelor's degree in information security or other related field, two to three (2-3) years of related IT
security experience and/or certification; or equivalent combination of experience.
2-3 years of information security experience required.
Industry related certifications (Security +, CISSP, CISM, OSCP) desired.
