Senior Full Stack Developer
Our client in Zurich are recruiting a Senior Full Stack Developer for a long term project.
Tasks and Activities
- Full-stack Java software development with agile methods and advanced tooling
- Technical Application Responsibility for JEE Web Applications: Java/JEE, Angular, JavaScript, Relational Databases, Web Services
- Analysis of requirements in cooperation with specialists
- Creation and execution of functional tests and regression tests
- Accompaniment and implementation of extensions and coordination with external service providers and city-internal stakeholders
- Independent implementation of applications
Required qualifications:
- Completed IT studies (ETH or FH) or equivalent education and several years of professional experience in a similar capacity
- Analytical and conceptual action paired with a networked and entrepreneurial mindset
- High degree of responsibility, initiative and self-reliance
- Coordination strength as well as a clear and targeted way of communication
- Experience in customer service and enjoyment in dealing with demanding customer requirements
- Experience in agile project and development methods, Scrum Master advantageous
- Very good knowledge of Java programming (Java EE) and experience in dealing with databases
- Experience in the DevOps environment desirable, knowledge of appropriate tools advantageous (Jira, Confluence, Sonar, Jenkins, Maven, Git)
- Experience is also beneficial in the following areas: Angular/TypeScript, Docker/Kubernetes, Microservice-based architectures, Distributed Systems, Eclipse/IntelliJ, IBM WebSphere Application/Liberty Server
