Main tasks:
- Make sure that the agile teams follow the defined agile processes and methodology
- Managing the scrum process
- Make sure all the impediments coming up for the agile teams are tracked and worked on
- Making sure that the product backlog is maintained by the product owner according as agreed
- Responsible to conduct and lead retrospective meetings/scoping/pre scoping/planning meetings
- Participating in scrum governance gremiums for the whole program (cross project stream)
- Act as a safe guard to the teams
Main qualifications
- Profound experience as a scrum master or in a similar role (for software development teams)
- Very good knowledge of agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, XP
- Experience working for agile teams that transformed from waterfall model to agile
- Very good understanding of software development/delivery processes
- Sense of ownership and pride in performance and its impact on success
- Problem solving skills
- Solution oriented
- Team player
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
