Main tasks:
- Testing functional/technical requirements based on design and risk
- Manual UI testing
- Manual (tool supported) API testing (SOAP/REST)
- Creating and maintaining test data
- Describing automation needs for the regression test portfolio
- Identifying issues, risks and dependencies, escalating and managing where appropriate
- Promote and advocate best practices within the team and throughout the business
Main qualifications
- Professional experience in software testing using black-box testing techniques
- Experience with testing/documentation/automation tools and functional testing
- Profound understanding of testing concepts in all stages of software development lifecycle
- Comprehensive analytical skills
- SOAP, REST and SQL know-how (ISTQB is an advantage)
- Fluency in English; German (reading) skills are an advantage
