Spark- HBase- HDP/Hortonworks- Oozie
I am currently looking for a Spark Developer/Big Data Engineer who can undertake an initial 3 month contract based in Vienna, Austria. The contract will start ASAP.
We have a healthy rate and costs (hotel, flights each week, one meal per day) are covered.
Key Skills:
Spark Development:
- Analyze and tune an existing Spark job that does geo join operations:
- Input are Hive tables. Output are Hive and HBase.
- Add a new input sources (from Hive tables) to the Spark job and perform calculations.
HBase Development:
- Review the existing HBase table, suggest and help implement changes.
- Help implement changes to the HBase table based on the output of the Spark job.
Oozie Scheduling:
- Support to schedule the new Spark job as part of the full pipeline and knowledge transfer on how to develop, operate and troubleshoot the Oozie pipeline.
