Test Engineer (m/f)

Main tasks:
- Prepare test specifications and test procedures according to defined requirements
- Create and maintain manual and automated test cases in the test case management tool/ or automation tool
- Prepare test environment and needed preconditions (e.g. test data) for tests
- Configure and operate test tools, simulators and automation suites
- Execute tests (incl. “defect tracking” and “defect reporting) according to test specifications and test procedures within the various test stages as well as regression tests
- Document results of all executed test runs according test plan
- Analyse defects incl. reproduction of them in the test environment
- Analyse test results and report results for the tests and test stages
- Support reviews of requirements other design documents and test artifacts (e.g. test cases)
Main qualifications
- Passionate about software testing
- Practical background in software testing or software engineering
- Knowledge of various test criteria, methods and stages within international standards
- Experience with customer relationship
- IT SW/HW and WAN skills to obtain global knowledge of the products and systems
- Work experience with various application life cycle tools like JIRA/Xray
- Basic software or scripting knowledge for test automation
- Database knowledge and SQL (e.g. MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
- Windows OS advanced, Linux basic skills from advantage
