Currently we are looking fora DevOps Engineer for one of our interesting clients (international IT group) in Vienna. It's a freelance project that starts asap. The duration of the project is 8 months with possible prolongation. The project language is English. So German language skills are not necessary but nice to have.Your Tasks:
-Provide "best practice" knowledge how to work in a CI/CD environment and ensure it in how to structure a software
-Infrastructure recommendations and implementation plans
-Support the infrastructure team
-Create a suitable build cycle and reduce the build and test efforts
-Create fast feedback loops (for developer and testers)
Your Profile:
-University degree in IT or similar technical background
-At least 5 years experience in a comparable environment and role
-Great knowledge and experience in Java, HTTP/RESTful APIs
-Very good knowledge and experience of CI/CD methodologies
-Know-how regarding SCS
-Know how regardings tool chain e.g.: Jenkins, GIT, Docker, BIRT, Jasper, ANT, NEXUS, Ansible, RedHat, AngularJS
-nice-to-have: German language skills
