Position: Data Architect
Location: Vienna,Austria
Type: Contract
German Speaking is mandatory
Experience:
- 10+ years of IT experience specialized as Data Architect and Enterprise Integration Architecture.
- Should have experience in design and development of integration platform at least for 2 clients.
- Must be comfortable in client facing roles and working as part of multicapability enterprise solutions teams, in addition to be able to work independently.
- Experience in Datamodelling, Teradata DWH and any reporting technology is required. Telco Domain experience and Microsoft Analysis Services will be an added advantage.
Desired Profile:
- Execute the Datamodelling process based on an Agile way of working and alignment with stakeholders.
- Set up and maintain design principles, standards and guidelines for the data model components and guaranteeing their consistency and quality.
- Deliver conform agreed principles and quality criteria: Conceptual & Logical Data Models, Candidate business terms, requirements mapping and other necessary documentation.
- Responsible for design and implementation of all functions of Teradata relational database systems, including: creation/maintenance of conceptual, logical and physical data models, and database solution design.
- Fluent in SQL and able to read and write complex queries, views and stored procedures is necessary.
- Understanding of ETL (data flows) is required.
- Expert knowledge of reporting/dashboard implementation is required.
- Advanced Analytics reports experience preferred.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels within an organisation. This is a Client Facing Role.
- Possess prior experience in a Technical Architect capacity in medium to large scale Integration Platform solution implementation developed from Offshore/Onsite delivery centres:
- Integration Platform Roadmap and Strategy
- Solution implementation guidelines and assurance
Travel:
- Ability to work from any location is a definite advantage
