For our key client in the logistics sector, we are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer on a long-term contract.You will be responsible for:
•You are active in a scaled agile software development organization in the field of test automation(central test automation team or agile software development teams)
• You ensure the appropriate degree of automation and select the test cases to be automated accordingly
• You implement (script) automated tests and also ensure the necessary integration into the overall quality assurance as part of a CI/CD process
• You are responsible for test data management in your area of activity and contribute to monitoring activities (in the team)
• You take over the analysis, evaluation, recording and tracking of errors/deviations (e.B. analyze CI test results)
• You support the ongoing optimization of the test automation architecture or the further development of the frameworks used
For the job is required:
• You have experience in setting up, introducing and operating test automation architectures including their integration with other test tools, as well as with test automation for different frontends (web, client, mobile applications under iOS and Android), interfaces and services as well as backends
• You have good knowledge of the application of scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript, SQL) and development (Java, JUnit, C#) in the context of development-related tests
• They have a high level of self-motivation for the continuous learning of new methods, technologies and frameworks
• You have practical experience working in agile software development teams, common tools (e.B. Jira/Confluence, Kibana) and current build, test and continuous integration processes
• Selenium, Appium, Katalon
• The transfer of your own knowledge, even in short lectures and workshops, is a matter of course for you
• You can develop well in agile projects/structures and your way of working is independent, responsible, structured and team-oriented
• You have a high level of commitment and flexibility, a hands-on mentality, a high level of initiative and personal responsibility
