Cyber Security Expert6-12 month contract (view to extend)

Role:
- Planning and implementation of security assessments, penetration tests, red team exercises and DDoS tests
- Security reviews of on-prem and in the cloud infrastructure by defining the requirements for security functions and monitoring their implementation
- Monitoring of internal vulnerability management, analysis of vulnerabilities and their elimination
- Monitoring of attack surface, evaluating possible risks and reviewing the technical implementation and documentation of the network perimeter
- Responsible for regularly performing dynamic and static code scans as part of our SSDLC
- Defining requirements for SIEM/SOC operation and support for reporting security incidents
- Contact person for security-related questions throughout the organization
Skills/Experience:
- Completed degree in IT (ideally with a focus on Cyber Security)
- Several years of experience in the field of security management, IT security or network administration
- Certifications in the security sector (CISSP, CCSP, OSCP) an advantage
- Very good MS Office knowledge
- Scripting know-how (e.g. Java, Powershell, Python) and cloud (Azure) basic knowledge
- Network and protocol knowledge
- Windows / Linux administration skills
- Excellent communication skills, social skills and assertiveness
- Autonomy and structured way of working
- Very good knowledge of German and English
