Unix Support Engineer - Fluent German - Remote from anywhere in Europe

The Unix Support Engineer should have the following skills/experience:
- Monitoring of UNIX-based systems
- Windows Monitoring & Management
- Good Communication skill (German Speaking)
- ITIL Processes
- ITSM tool IT user operations
- Install Approved OS/Security/Application patches
- Update Configuration Management Database
- Hardware replacement Coordination with vendor
- Create Incident tickets for outages/exceptions
- Respond to Alerts by following documented process
- Monitoring of UNIX-based systems
- Monitoring thresholds such as CPU Utilization, disk space etc.
- Monitoring mailbox
- Event evaluation with the help of knowledge databases
- Editing the ARS queues
- Receipt and processing of fault reports from customers
- Creation of problem tickets upon detection of accumulations or anomalies
- Performing operational tasks (cleanup, password resets, execute standard changes, processing operating orders)
