Project:·Insurance system for core processes of an international insurance company
·Agile transformation (still a mix of waterfall and Agile)
·Update of the existing system
·Programs and tools are being updatet
Must-Have-Skills:
·Several years of relevant work experience in conception and development with Java/Java EE as well as in practice with frameworks
·Working-level knowledge of agile and willingness to take active role supporting an agile working environment
·Fluent in English (C1), German skills are of advantage
·Experience with relational databases, SQL and REST APIs
·Experience in documentation of applications with UML and in the Source-Code
·Experience with Angular or similar client side frameworks
·Working-level knowledge of agile and willingness to take active role supporting an agile working environment
Nice-to-Have-Skills:
·Experience with test automation (JUnit, JMockit, Cucumber etc.)
·Experience with Spring
·Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, SonarQube, Git
·Experience with Eclipse-plugin architecture Container Technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
·Microservices and event-based architecture Apache Kafka
·Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, ELK stack
·Experience designing, architecting, building and improving solutions that bring value to end customers and organization
·Experience setting up and improving engineering practices within the team (TDD, end-to-end test
·automation, CI/CD etc.)
·Experience working with enterprise IT systems
