Beschreibung
Ihre Aufgaben- The Senior Software Engineer (SSE) is part of the team for the workstream Data Backbone, which is responsible for design, build/develop and run a middleware/API layer for a cloud-based data-driven infrastructure. The project has already been kicked off and the Data Backbone team is already working. Key is to support the team to deliver by providing cloud development support as well as aligning and implementing business requirements. Coordination in and across the team is required.
- Furthermore, the SSE is expected to:
- Be able to work in agile teams
- Concept, design and implement cloud-based IT architecture
- Document the implemented architecture
- Work in close cooperation with the API team
- Execute development tests
- Reporting
- The role reports to the Technical Foundation Workstream Lead Data Backbone
Muss-Anforderungen
- Proven experience in design/building of data-driven infrastructure
- Proven experience in cloud technologies (AWS/Azure)
- Proven experience in developing (e.g. Python, C#)
- Know-How in designing/building/running a central data backbone / data lake in AWS
- Know-How on micro services
- Capability to discuss business requirements as well as with business stakeholders
- Familiar with trading business processes esp. around data structure
- Delivery focus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Due to corona pandemic until further notice remote (home office) – once the client opens doors again onsite work - minimum 4 days per week in Karlsruhe
