Embedded Software Engineer - Medical Devices - 6 Months- Stuttgart- Up to €80 per hourThe demand for Embedded Software Engineers in the medical device space has never been greater. I am working with a medical device design consultancy in Stuttgart who are looking for Embedded Engineers, to work across their diverse portfolio of projects. In this interesting position, you will be working in the already brilliant Software team, a team with a mix of experienced Engineers and Junior members willing to learn from someone as experienced as you. You will be working with external clients on their project plans, collaborating with them on their ideas for unique devices and making them come to life! What you will do:
* Develop, implement and test Embedded software, using mainly C/C++
* Participate in the planning, design, development, debugging and integration of embedded software
* Work within a strong, technical team. All working on individual projects but in an open and transparent environment
* Work within IEC 62304 regulations
* Mentor junior members of the team
* Problem solve and troubleshoot
* Update client on project timelines and milestones Skills Required Embedded Software Engineer
What you have:
* experience in both embedded C and C++, with a strong background in highly regulated industries
* RTOS experience is beneficial
* You have experience working on complex Embedded projects, and completing to deadlines
* You have a degree in Software/Electronic Engineering
* Firmware experience would be beneficial
* Experience with embedded microcontrollers essential
